DecideBetterDaily: a structured decision journal Back in 2027

A three-step framework for decisions you keep circling: write the problem down, journal until it has a shape, then act. The framework is below, and it is free. The digital tool is being rebuilt at decidebetterdaily.com and returns in 2027.

The app is being rebuilt, and comes back in 2027.

Nothing on this page depends on it. The framework works on paper, which is how it started.

The three steps

  1. Write the decision down. Fuzzy thinking about a career pivot, a relationship or a research direction becomes a sentence you can actually look at.
  2. Journal for clarity. Five minutes of structured reflection, which is usually where the real constraint turns up.
  3. Act. Close the gap between knowing and doing while the clarity is still warm.

Why keep a decision journal

Great decisions are not moments of genius. They are repeatable processes, which means decision fluency is a trainable skill. Nikolaj K. Mandsberg
